The SBCSG Awards has been set up to recognise the achievements of our members apprentices. The construction industry can be a very rewarding career but is often overlooked by young adults leaving school and considering their future professional options. SBCSG Awards were set up not only recognise the achievements of the apprentices embarking on their chosen career with the member companies, but also to promote positivity about the many varied opportunities available to individuals who are choosing a career when leaving school or college, or who are looking for a change in direction.
SBCSG has close links with Cyfle Building Skills, a Multi Award Winning Regional Shared Apprenticeship Scheme that employs apprentices. The aim is to provide a service which supports young adults into sustainable employment within the construction industry, enabling them to receive high quality training and relevant experience throughout their apprenticeships, furthering chances of gaining employment.
